release of the Duo-i plus AM/FM Stereo Radio with iPhoneTM/iPod®Connectivity (SRP: $249.99). The new
Duo-i plus reflects Boston Acoustics’
Play Smart™ attitude, combining contemporary design
with extraordinary performance. The new “plus”
model upgrades its look with stylish high-gloss black and high-gloss
white finish with matching perforated metal grilles and is expected to
be available in October.
Wake Up and Get Moving to the Music
Thanks to its dual alarms and sleep timer the Duo-i
plus makes
an ideal bedside radio. With Boston’s exclusive 360˚ Snooze Bar, the entire front aluminum trim of the radio is touch-sensitive, which lets sleepy users activate the alarm clock snooze function
by simply touching any part of the aluminum trim – no more fumbling around in the
dark to find the snooze button! The Duo-i
plus allows
users to wake up to their favorite song on their iPhone/iPod,
AM/FM radio station, or an alarm sound.
Additionally, the
high contrast display automatically adjusts to ambient
light, ensuring that the clock and other display information can be easily read
anytime, day or night.
Multiple Connectivity Features
Boston Acoustics has made it easy for music lovers to listen
to their favorite music and playlists. Once connected to the dock, users can
conveniently charge their iPhone/ iPod and also control their music using the includedremote
control. Works With iPhone certification minimizes cell phone interference and lets
users receive calls while their iPhone is docked.
Users may also enjoy AM/FM radio reception or they can connect additional media
players using one of the two auxiliary inputs. A
composite video output lets users watch iPhone/iPod video content on their TV and
stereo headphone outputs add to the flexibility of the Duo-i
plus. There is also a Subwoofer line level output to let users
connect a separate powered subwoofer to the system.
