Boston Acoustics Introduces Two Advanced High-Humidity In-Ceiling Loudspeakers
Denver, CO, September 4, 2008 - Boston Acoustics , Inc., world-renowned manufacturer of high-performance loudspeakers, today announced the introduction of two high-humidity weather-resistant in-ceiling loudspeaker solutions, the Vista Series VH 47T02 6 1/2" Two-Way Dual Tweeter (MAP: $450) and the Horizon Series HH 460T2 6" Two-Way Dual Tweeter (MAP: $275), both designed to give custom installers exciting new placement options and withstand high humidity conditions. Both speakers are built using materials that are proven durable and resistant to weather and high humidity, making them ideal for use in moisture-prone areas such as outdoor pool patios, saunas, and bathrooms, and both feature advanced sonic technologies and materials for superior audio performance.
Both the VH 47T02 and the HH 460T2 feature dual 1" Kortec tweeters and copolymer DCD woofers (6" in the HH 460T2, 6 ½" in the VH 47T02) for dynamic, high-performance audio reproduction. Adding to their placement flexibility, both models feature inputs for both left and right channels, allowing them to play stereo signals from a single location.
Boston Acoustics created the HH 460T2 and VH 47T02 in direct response to requests from its valued base of custom integrators, many of whom have expressed the need for higher performing weather resistant in-ceiling speakers.
