Just picked up a pair of these six months ago at Circuit City prior to their liquidation, and all I can say is WOW! I also own a pair of cr67 and cr85 bookshelf speakers and their design and sound is what initially interested me in the voyager 6's. The most important thing I was looking for with an outdoor speaker was solid construction and high output without distortion, and man does the voyager 6 deliver. They're so solid that when one vibrated itself off the place I had it resting on and fell down 5 stairs there was nothing but a small nick on one of the corners and no change in sound. WOW! I contemplated the voyager 7 because of the larger driver size built into the speaker, but the size was significantly larger and not worth the increase of price. Make sure to run good cable to these speakers and an amp of 100w/channel RMS always helps as well. I have them running off a denon AVR-988 as my zone 2 speaker set and with the 110w/channel output they really shine. If you happen to be a bass nut like myself I would also suggest an outdoor subwoofer as well. Hope my input helps, and by all means, you cant go wrong with these speakers.
