To my suprise, the two SE35s I bought for my Jag didn't come with speaker covers.

This is the second set of Boston 3 1/2" speakers I've owned. The first being from 1997-2001 in the dash of a 1989 Cavalier Z24. I now have a 2011 Jeep Patriot with the "Boston" system. I put Boston in quotes because they still use cheap dual cone speakers that are no where near the performance of some real coaxial and component speakers Boston actually sells. Anyway, the Patriot w/Boston system has 3 1/2" speakers in the fold out tailgate system, so I was more than happy to upgrade to real Boston 3 1/2" speakers, because my past experience was good, and I get to keep with the factory Boston theme. The speakers did the trick. Treble is much brighter. Not much more out of the woofer, as expected out of a 3 1/2", for all I know the factory amp may have high pass crossover settings, but I'm happy with the result. Can't hear them so much with the rear seat up, but with the fader 3-4 clicks back, I can hear the 3 1/2" over the rear 6x9" in the rear doors (next up to be replaced).
