I had some JL audio speakers in my truck and they went out after a few months, I bought these speakers and Love them, crystal clear sound, with rich mid-bass. Perfect fit for my Chevy pickup in the doors. I thinking about replacing my rear speakers as well.

I just bought these and installed them.I have had many car systems in the past.but never boston.I just put boston in my home so i decided to try boston's mobile audio.I also have a eclpse deck in my ride;these speakers sound fantastic powered off of a head unit,you just don't find that today most speakers require an amplifier for their true potential.these have a full warm sound to them,no they don't produce thunderous bass but they do have good bass and excellent mid and high response,they sound very natural.paired to a g110-4 subwoofer they blend very well together and sound clean and can play loud if you want them to.for the money these speakers can not be beat in their price range and give auiophiles like me the option to put together a car system without having to amp the full range speakers.WELL DONE BOSTON!

this is a very good speaker for the money that you would pay. it is desinged to work well with most head units it works the best with the eclipse head units i bought 2 pairs of these speakers last year and installed them in a gmc canyon the only fault with these speakers is the hardware other than that it fits in most door panels with out any issues after finding the correct spacers & hardware. i notice that the whole freqency range it sounds very accurate for an oem speaker at an economy price i recomend this speaker i also found that i can turn the volume amost all the way before i notice any distortion
