The Boston's replaced a 12 year-old pair of Altec Lansing multimedia speakers. My Chrysler 300 has the Boston sound system, so i figured these were worth the try. For a 2.0 system, I couldn't be happier. I can't crank them up yet since it is 10:00 PM and my wife and granddaughter are sleeping. But, if they are as good at 80% power as right now at 20%, I can't wait to rock. Thanks BA - outstanding sound, value, and quality. Highly recommended!

bad caps in speakers,

I bought this speaker off internet, got home, set them up, turned them on, heard poping sound. I read the fine print form expo electronics, said they would chage me 20% restock fee plus shipping costs. They would replace speaker if they determined that there was a problem. Well I expect more from boston quality. I called up boston and they said sounded like bad capicator in speaker. Told me to send them in, and it will take a while. I didn't, I bought s set of Phillips speakers with the same speaker config, they work and sound much better, also look like the materials used in speakers are better. Bostons went into trash.
