Indianapolis, IN, September 5, 2012 — Boston Acoustics, Inc., a world-renowned manufacturer of high performance loudspeakers, is determined to make TVs sound better with its new TVee® 26 Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer (MSRP: $399.99). The compact, “plug and play” system provides a TV watching experience that literally envelops listeners in rich, room-filling sound. The high-performance, high-value TVee 26 offers a total system power of 150 watts (RMS), adding high-quality, and dynamic audio to TV programs, movies, games, and music. Like all Boston Acoustics soundbar systems, the TVee 26 is designed for total ease-of-use and flexibility, with both optical digital and analog inputs, including a mini stereo AUX input to connect mobile devices

Immersive Surround Sound Experience in an Elegant, Space-Saving Design
The elegant and space-saving TVee 26 Soundbar includes dual 2" x 5" built-in drivers that feature a light and rigid elliptical cone with a highly complex shape to reduce distortion and enhance dynamic performance. Adding to the TVee 26’s best-in-class audio performance is Boston Acoustics’ low-distortion, wide-bandwidth “HHRT” (Hyperbolic High Rigidity Transducer) driver technology. The unit’s deep low frequency punch is made possible by the powerful subwoofer, and Boston’s unique BassTrac® circuitry ensures the absolute minimum of distortion at all times. The system’s frequency range is 40Hz – 20kHz and with its sleek design (a 31" bar just over than 3 ¼ inches high and less than 3 inches deep, plus the compact wireless subwoofer), the TVee 26 is both unobtrusive and powerful.

Notably, the TVee 26 features a simple “one wire hookup,” plus integrated keyhole-style wall mounts for quick and easy set-up right out of the box. The TVee 26 features touch sensitive front controls,and thanks to its remote-learning capability, it is designed to work seamlessly with a user’s existing remote control.

The TVee 26 features Dolby® Digital decoding and Boston Acoustics’ Digitally Optimized Virtual Surround (DOVS) processing for pinpoint, theater-like surround effects and room-filling audio.
