Clean, Stylish Design
Offering luxurious quality, each speaker in the A Series is housed in high-contrast finish cabinets with scratch-resistant panels, textured tops, magnetic grilles, and rounded edges for a superior build. The A Series' sleek design looks great alongside any room's decor.

Soft Dome Tweeter Offers Crisp High-Frequency Detail
Boston's 1-inch Kortec soft dome tweeter delivers clear high-frequency response, making movies come alive and vocal performances sing with clarity.

Woofer Design Reduces Distortion
Each A Series 5-1/4-inch woofer uses Deep Channel Design (DCD) magnet structures to deliver more bass from less amplifier power, resulting in a fuller, cleaner sound. The A Series woofers feature ceramic and glass fiber polymer cones that help to reduce distortion for improved clarity.

Innovative Cabinet Shape Improves Stereo Imaging
All A Series cabinets use a tuned resonant port design to magnify the woofer's sound output for improved low-frequency response and stereo imaging. Vertical and horizontal internal bracing reduces unwanted resonances in the cabinet and drive units.

Binding Posts Make Installation Easy
Five-way gold-plated binding posts offer plenty of flexibility, making installation easy. The binding posts' large contact surface allows for an especially pure signal transfer.

The Goal of the A Series
Boston's A Series speakers are ideal for either multichannel home theater or stereo-only music systems and may be used in any configuration for other listening applications.

Boston Acoustics creates all of its speakers following the Play Smart approach to product design--sensible, useful, smart design features combined with contemporary styling. To deliver the best performance possible in this price class, Boston's engineers brought together the best elements of traditional loudspeaker design, incorporating several new technologies into the A Series.

Boston's engineers utilized Laser Vibrometer Scanning and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to identify unwanted resonances in the loudspeaker with the goal of eliminating them to greatly improve performance. The elimination of hardware on the cabinet's front baffle and rounded front edges further improve driver performance for improved stereo imaging.

The Boston Acoustics A 225C two-way dual 5-1/4-inch center channel speaker is backed by a five-year warranty.
