Don't let the 8" subwoofer size fool you.I have two of these in my 18x26 living room powered by a SA1 amplifier and let me tell you they play loud and hard.these subs also have a very full bass range.a installation note these subs are very easy to install so every one can have a full in-wall/in-ceiling speaker set up with no subwoofer on the floor still.I am absolutely amazed with these subs and the pri pro series in general.My system consists of a denon avr-591 receiver,boston dsi 460 fronts,dsi 465 rears,dsi 455 center,Sa1 amp and two prisub85.this is the best system i have ever had.now i know what others meant by the boston sound.you just have to experience it.

By far the best in ceiling sub I have ever heard/felt. I installed mine in the corner of my room and it fills the room with amazing distortion free bass. You could easily turn up the volume as high as you could stand it and it will not distort. Amazing!! Crystal clear bass at an insanely low price. I definitely recommend these subs to anybody looking for a professional sounding in-ceiling subwoofer/sound system.
