Specifically designed for our existing line of advanced 5" in-ceiling loudspeakers, these Fire-Rated Back Boxes offer new levels of performance, reliability and convenience in a variety of commercial and residential loudspeaker applications.

• Fits all Boston 5" in-ceiling speakers
• Standard 3/8" knockouts for the two supplied ULM connectors
• Color coded raised flange around the speaker opening to aid location after drywall installation, green for 5" speakers
• Can be mounted in 12", 16", or 24" stud bays
• Adjustable support bars are supplied that allow easy installation in drop tile ceilings
• An integrated safety tab is mounted on the back of the cabinet for an installer-supplied safety cable
• internal mountings for 70V/100V transformers
